時太宗以申令孫為徐州，代安都。 At that time Emperor Ming appointed Shen Lingsun to Xuzhou in Andou's place.

令孫進據淮陽，密有反志，遣人告索兒曰：「欲相從順，而百口在都。 Lingsun advanced and occupied Huaiyang, secretly plotting rebellion. He sent a message to Suo'er: "I wish to join you, but my entire family is held in the capital.

索兒乃遣靈越向淮陽，令孫出城，為相距之形，既而奔散，北投索兒。 Suo'er sent Lingyue against Huaiyang. Lingsun came out of the city and staged a show of resistance, then broke and fled north to join Suo'er.

索兒使令孫說闡令降，闡既降，索兒執闡及令孫，並殺之。 Suo'er had Lingsun persuade Chan to surrender. Once Chan submitted, Suo'er seized both men and had them killed.

索兒走向樂平縣界，為申令孫子孝叔所斬。 Suo'er fled toward Leping County and was beheaded by Xiaoshu, son of Shen Lingsun.
