冬，攸之反，遣輔國將軍中兵參軍孫同、寧朔將軍中兵參軍武寶、龍驤將軍騎兵參軍朱君拔、寧朔將軍沈惠眞、龍驤將軍騎兵參軍王道起三萬人爲前驅，又遣司馬冠軍劉攘兵領寧朔將軍外兵參軍公孫方平、龍驤將軍騎兵參軍朱靈眞、沈僧敬、龍驤將軍高茂二萬人次之，又遣輔國將軍王靈秀、丁珍東、寧朔將軍中兵參軍王彌之、寧朔將軍外兵參軍楊景穆二千匹騎分兵出夏口，據魯山。 That winter Youzhi rose in revolt. He sent Sun Tong, pacifying state general and central corps staff officer; Wu Bao, pacifying north general and central corps staff officer; Zhu Junba, flying dragon general and cavalry corps staff officer; Shen Huizhen, pacifying north general; and Wang Daoqi, flying dragon general and cavalry corps staff officer—with thirty thousand men as vanguard. He sent champion marshal Liu Rangbing at the head of Gongsun Fangping, pacifying north general and outer corps staff officer; Zhu Lingzhen and Shen Sengjing, flying dragon generals and cavalry corps staff officers; and Gao Mao, flying dragon general—with twenty thousand in the second wave. He sent pacifying state general Wang Lingxiu, Ding Zhendong, pacifying north general and central corps staff officer Wang Mizhi, and pacifying north general and outer corps staff officer Yang Jingmu with two thousand horse to split from Xiakou and hold Lushan.
:　　攸之稟性空淺，躁而無謀，濃湖土崩，本非己力，彭城、下邳，望旗宵遁，再棄王師，久應肆法，值先帝宥其回溪之恥，冀有封崤之捷，故得幸會推遷，頻煩顯授。 Youzhi is shallow and rash, without counsel. At Nonghu the ramparts gave way—no strength of his; at Pengcheng and Xiapi he ran at the first banner by night, twice deserting the imperial host. He should have died by statute long since; the late emperor spared the disgrace of Huixi, hoping he might yet win a victory like Feng and Yao—so fortune lifted him, and high posts came again and again.

征西大將軍、荊州刺史沈攸之進號車騎大將軍、開府儀同三司，尚書左僕射、中領軍、鎮軍將軍、南兗州刺史齊王為司空、錄尚書事、驃騎大將軍，刺史如故，中書令、衞將軍、開府儀同三司，撫軍將軍劉秉為尚書令，加中軍將軍，[2]安西將軍、郢州刺史晉熙王燮為撫軍將軍、揚州刺史，南陽王翽為郢州刺史。 Shen Youzhi, General Who Conquers the West and Inspector of Jingzhou, was promoted to General of Chariots and Cavalry and authorized to maintain his own office with ceremonial rank equal to the Three Excellencies. The Prince of Qi, Vice Director of the Masters of Writing, Central Army Commander, General Who Pacifies the Army, and Inspector of South Yanzhou, was appointed Minister of Works, Recording Secretary, and Grand General of Agile Cavalry, remaining Inspector as before. [2] The text is defective here; the collation note restores the missing appointments: Yuan Can became Director of the Secretariat and concurrently Minister over the Masses, while Chu Yuan became Guards General, and both were authorized to maintain their own offices with ceremonial rank equal to the Three Excellencies. Liu Bing, General Who Pacifies the Army, became Director of the Masters of Writing and additionally Central Army Commander. Xie, Prince of Jinxi, General Who Pacifies the West and Inspector of Yingzhou, became General Who Pacifies the Army and Inspector of Yangzhou. Prince of Nanyang Hui became Inspector of Yingzhou.
