遐荒旋斃於戎王，重譯徑來於蠻子，東巡而守殷殪，北討而王都殲，破契丹而燕、趙無虞，控靈武而瓜、沙並復。 Frontier war-lords were soon destroyed, tribute interpreters came from afar; on the eastern tour Shouyin was overthrown, on the northern campaign Wang Du was wiped out; the Khitan were broken and Yan and Zhao were secure, and Lingwu brought Gua and Sha back.
