左傳有棘地，成公三年叔孫僑如所圍。杜預曰汶水北地有棘鄕。東觀書有芳陘山。 The Zuo Tradition records the place Ji, besieged by Shusun Qiaoru in Duke Cheng 3. Du Yu says Ji Township lay north of the Wen River. The Dongguan shu also records Mount Fangxing.
