通鑑卷一七二五三六〇頁衅周軍追齊後主事，胡注引宋白曰：「靈石縣東南有高壁嶺、雀鼠谷、汾水關，皆汾西險固之地。」 The Comprehensive Mirror, juan 172, p. 5360, recounting the Zhou pursuit of the Northern Qi emperor, has Hu's commentary citing Song Bai: "Southeast of Lingshi county lie Gaobi Ridge, Sparrow-Mouse Gorge, and Fen River Pass—all strong points on the west bank of the Fen."
