江都留守遣校尉宋顥將兵捕擊，伏威與戰，偽北，誘顥墮葭榛澤中，順風縱火迫之，步騎燒死幾盡。 The Jiangdu garrison commissioner sent Colonel Song Hao with troops to hunt him down. Fuwei gave battle, feigned a retreat, and lured Hao into a reed swamp; then, with the wind at his back, he set the reeds ablaze and drove the enemy into the flames until almost every foot soldier and horseman was burned alive.
