二十八年，上遣內大臣索額圖等與俄羅斯使人費耀多囉等會於尼布楚，立約定界，命郎坦與議，乃毀所築城徙去。 In Kangxi 28 (1689) Minister of the Imperial Household Songgotu met Russian envoys led by Fyodor at Nerchinsk to fix the border; Lang Tan joined the talks, after which the Russian posts were dismantled and the garrisons withdrawn.
