大用乾隆間官江南提督，所屬游擊楊天相，獲海盜，總督蘇凌阿讞以為誣，誅天相，大用亦被譴。 Under Qianlong, Dayong served as Provincial Military Commissioner of Jiangnan. His subordinate Yang Tianxiang captured pirates, but Governor Su Ling'a ruled the case a fabrication, had Tianxiang executed, and reprimanded Dayong as well.
