戊辰，劉宇亮、孫傳庭會師十八萬于晉州，不敢進。 On wuchen Liu Yuliang and Sun Chuanting assembled one hundred eighty thousand men at Jinzhou but dared not move forward.

丁丑，改洪承疇總督薊、遼，孫傳庭總督保定、山東、河北。 On dingchou Hong Chengchou was reassigned as grand coordinator of Ji and Liao, and Sun Chuanting as grand coordinator of Baoding, Shandong, and Hebei.

乙亥，削孫傳庭籍，尋逮下獄。 On yihai Sun Chuanting was stripped of rank; soon afterward he was arrested and imprisoned.
