辛丑，孫傳庭復寶豐，進次郟縣，李自成迎戰，擊敗之。 On xinchou Sun Chuanting recovered Baofeng, advanced to Jia County, and when Li Zicheng came out to fight, routed him.

壬子，孫傳庭兵以乏食引退，賊追及之，還戰大敗，傳庭以餘眾退保潼關。 On renzi Sun Chuanting's army, short of provisions, withdrew; the rebels overtook them, fought again, and inflicted a crushing defeat; Chuanting fell back with the remnant to hold Tong Pass.

丙寅，李自成陷潼關，督師尚書孫傳庭死之。 On bingyin Li Zicheng captured Tong Pass; supreme commander Sun Chuanting was killed.
