弘治二年，用給事中孫需言，贈特進光祿大夫、柱國、太傅，諡肅湣。 In Hongzhi 2, on supervising secretary Sun Xu's recommendation, he was posthumously made Special Advancement Grand Master of Splendid Happiness, Pillar of the State, and Grand Tutor, with the posthumous title Su Min.
