玄宗朝禘袷，皇伯考中宗、皇考睿宗同列於穆位。 At the di and xia sacrifices under Xuanzong, Imperial Elder Uncle Zhongzong and Imperial Father Ruizong were ranked together in the mu position.

唐玄宗謂中宗為皇伯考，德宗謂中宗為高伯祖，則伯氏之稱，復何不可？ Tang Xuanzong called Zhongzong Imperial Elder Uncle; Dezong called him great-great-grand elder uncle—why then cannot the address of elder uncle be used?
