從田重進擊賊有功，就加西京作坊使，兼知威虜軍，連為廣韶、鄜延二路都巡檢使。 He campaigned with Tian Zhongjin with distinction, was made commissioner of the Western Capital workshops with charge of Weilü Army, and later served as overall inspector on the Guang-Shao and Fu-Yan routes.
