贼臣铁失、赤斤铁木兒等并欲杀朵兒只，其从子朵尔直班方八岁，走诣怯薛官失都兒求免，以故朵兒只得脱于难。 The traitorous ministers Tieshi, Chijintiemuer, and the rest all wished to kill Duo'erzhi as well. His nephew Duo'erzhiban was then eight years old, ran to the kheshig officer Shiduer to beg for mercy, and for this reason Duo'erzhi escaped the calamity.
