建武二年，魏主托跋宏寇赭陽，景宗爲偏將，每衝堅陷陣，輒有斬獲，以勳除遊擊將軍。 In Jianwu year two Tuoba Hong of Wei raided Zheyang; Jingzong was a flank commander, broke the line each time he charged, and was made Guerrilla General for merit.

魏主率衆大至，顯達宵奔，景宗導入山道，故顯達父子獲全。 The Wei ruler came in force; Xianda fled by night, and Jingzong led him through the mountains, so Xianda and his son escaped whole.
