楓港、獅頭諸社番屢出戕害良民，光緒元年，游擊王開俊進剿，中伏死。 Aborigines of Fenggang, Shitou, and neighboring communities kept raiding and killing settlers. In 1875 Battalion Commander Wang Kaijun marched against them, was ambushed, and killed.
