三年秋，川匪王三槐就擒，封賞樞臣，詔：「傑現雖未直軍機，軍興曾有贊畫功，並予優敘。」 In the autumn of 1798 the Sichuan rebel Wang Sanhuai was captured; Grand Councilors were rewarded, and an edict said: "Although Jie is not now on regular Grand Council duty, he contributed to war planning and shall receive preferential commendation as well."

尋以王三槐就擒，與軍機大臣同被議敘。 Soon, when Wang Sanhuai was captured, he received commendation along with the Grand Councilors.
