文安遷汝忠家屬于蟠龍，遣元帥王師能持檄往達州招之曰：「降則家屬得全，不降則闔城塗炭，汝宜早為計。」 Wen'an relocated Ruzhong's family to Panlong and sent Marshal Wang Shineng to Dazhou with a summons: 'Submit and your household lives; hold out and the city is annihilated—choose quickly.'

汝忠遂遣趙榮來約降，王師能以兵入據其城。 Ruzhong then sent Zhao Rong to negotiate surrender, and Wang Shineng entered to occupy the city.
