自臨邑築長圍至馬頰河，松林偕潘鼎新、王心安守之，敗賊於海豐，追至德州，歷十六晝夜，斬捕過半。 From Linyi they threw a long cordon to the Majia River, which Songlin held with Pan Dingxin and Wang Xin'an. They routed the rebels at Haifeng, chased them to Dezhou, and in sixteen days and nights killed or captured more than half the force.
