王宗仁妻宋氏，進士宋褧之女也。 Wang Zongren's wife Lady Song was the daughter of Song Xiang, who had passed the jinshi examination.

宗仁家永平。 Zongren's family lived in Yongping.

夫婦為軍所虜，行至玉田縣，有窺宋氏色美，欲害宗仁者，宋氏謂夫曰：「我不幸至此，必不以身累君。」 The couple were captured by the army. When they reached Yutian County, there was a man who coveted Lady Song's beauty and wished to kill Zongren. Lady Song said to her husband, "Fate has brought me to this pass. I will not let my body become your ruin."
