蘇賊聞人遂安據昆山，無所屬，伏威使討之，雄誕以邑險而完，攻之引日，遂單騎造壘門，陳國威靈，因開曉禍福，遂安即降。 Wenren Suian, a bandit of Suzhou, held Kunshan and acknowledged no master. Fuwei sent Wang Xiongdan against him. The stronghold was steep and well defended, and the siege dragged on for days. Wang Xiongdan then rode alone to the camp gate, proclaimed the majesty of the state, and laid out the consequences of resistance and submission. Wenren Suian surrendered at once.
