康宗以為然，乃使斡塞將兵伐之，大破高麗兵。 Kangzong was persuaded and sent Wosai at the head of an army. He routed the Goryeo forces.

六月，高麗率眾來戰，斡塞敗之，進圍其城。 In the sixth month Goryeo brought its main force to battle. Wosai defeated them and laid siege to their city.
