時武宗在藩邸，統大軍以鎮朔方，有旨令蠻子台總領蒙古軍民官，轉武宗守莽來，以遏北方。 At that time Wuzong was holding a princely command, leading a great army to guard the northern frontier; an edict ordered Manzitai to take overall charge of Mongol military and civilian offices and transfer to Wuzong's garrison at Manglai to check the north.
