冬十二月，潛遣勇士躡雲梯宵登，斬關納外兵，堃悉力巷戰，達州安撫使鮮汝忠與宋兵力戰死，比曉，宋兵大敗，堃力屈就擒。 In the twelfth month assault teams scaled the walls on cloud-ladders by night, cut the bar, and let the outer force in. Kun fought house to house. The Dazhou Pacification Commissioner Xian Ruzhong and Song troops battled to the death. By dawn the Song force was shattered; Kun, spent, was taken.
