後璋將扶禁、向存等帥萬餘人由閬水上，攻圍攻峻，且一年，不能下。 Liu Zhang’s generals Fu Jin and Xiang Cun then brought over ten thousand men up the Lang River and besieged the town for the better part of a year without breaking it.

峻城中兵才數百人，伺其怠隙，選精銳出擊，大破之，即斬存首。 Huo Jun had only a few hundred defenders. When he saw an opening, he sent picked troops out in a sortie, routed the besiegers, and took Xiang Cun’s head.
