齊鄱陽王鏘爲雍州，復以爲征虜中兵參軍，帶馮翊太守，督峴南諸軍事，除屯騎校尉。 When Xiao Qiang, Prince of Poyang, became Inspector of Yong Province, Jingzong was again made an Inner Troops Aide to the General Who Campaigns Against the Barbarians and Administrator of Fengyi. He supervised military affairs south of Xian and was promoted to Colonel of Garrison Cavalry.
