韋雍妻蕭氏。 Wei Yong's wife, Lady Xiao.

雍時家亦從劫，蕭氏聞難號呼，專執夫袂，左右格去，以死不從。 Yong's household was also caught in the plunder; hearing the calamity Xiao cried out and clutched her husband's sleeve; attendants pulled her away, but she would not leave even unto death.

及雍臨刃，蕭氏涕而告曰：「妾不幸年少，義不茍活； As Yong faced the blade, Xiao wept and said, "I am unfortunate in my youth; by righteousness I will not live in degradation;

執刃者斷其臂而殺雍，蕭氏詞氣不撓，雖兇悍圜視，無不嗟嘆。 The executioner cut off her arm and killed Yong; Xiao's words and spirit did not bend—even the fierce rebels who looked on all sighed in admiration.

其夕，蕭氏亦卒， That evening Xiao also died.

太和六年，節度使楊志誠表明其事，因降敕追封蘭陵縣君。 In the sixth year of Taihe, Military Governor Yang Zhicheng reported her deeds, and by edict she was posthumously enfeoffed as Lady of Lanling County.
