以門下侍郎、平章事薛貽矩判建昌宮事，兼延資庫使。 Xue Yiju, vice director of the Chancellery and grand councilor, was put in charge of Jianchang Palace and named commissioner of the Yanzi Treasury as well.

辛丑，以久雨，命宰臣薛貽矩抃定鼎門，趙光逢祠嵩嶽。 On xinchou, with rain unending, he sent Xue Yiju to worship at Dingding Gate and Zhao Guangfeng to Mount Song.

太祖即位，用宰臣薛貽矩為鹽鐵使，俊與貽矩同年登第，甚知其才，即奏為鹽鐵判官，遷職為禮部郎中，兼職如故。 When the Founder took the throne chief minister Xue Yiju became salt and iron commissioner; Jun had passed the jinshi with Yiju and knew his ability; he was soon made salt and iron judicial commissioner, then Bureau Director in the Ministry of Rites while keeping the same concurrent duties.

四年十二月，宰臣薛貽矩奏：「太常卿李燕等重刊定律令三十卷，式二十卷，格一十卷，並目錄一十三卷，律疏三十卷，凡五部一十帙，共一百三卷。 In the twelfth month of the fourth year, Chief Minister Xue Yiju reported: "Grand Master of Splendid Happiness Li Yan and his colleagues have newly printed and fixed the statutes in thirty scrolls, formats in twenty, regulations in ten, a table of contents in thirteen, and the statutory commentary in thirty—five parts in ten fascicles, one hundred and three scrolls in all.

开平元年春正月壬寅，天子使御史大夫薛贻矩来劳军。 In the first month of spring, Kaiping 1 (907), on the day renyin, the Tang emperor sent Censor-in-Chief Xue Yiju to visit the army and pay his respects.

五月丁丑朔，以唐相張文蔚楊涉為門下侍郎、御史大夫薛貽矩為中書侍郎：同中書門下平章事。 On the first day of the fifth month, dingchou, the former Tang chancellors Zhang Wenwei and Yang She were made vice directors of the Chancellery (Menxia), and Censor-in-Chief Xue Yiju became vice director of the Secretariat (Zhongshu); all held the rank of co-equal grand councilor of the Secretariat and Chancellery.

是月，薛貽矩薨。 That month Xue Yiju died.
