嘉慶初，偕總兵吉蘭泰擊教匪張映祥、楊天柱於鞏昌、秦州，進蹙諸白水江，殲焉。 Early in Jiaqing he and Regional Commander Jilantai defeated sect rebels Zhang Yingxiang and Yang Tianzhu at Gongchang and Qinzhou, drove them to the Baishui River, and destroyed them.
