時陶茂林、雷正綰軍相繼譁變，回氛益熾，自楊岳斌楚軍外，僅克忠一軍與之相持。 At that time the armies of Tao Maolin and Lei Zhengwan mutinied one after another and the Muslim rebellion burned hotter than ever. Apart from Yang Yuebin's Chu Army, only Kezhong's force still held the line against the rebels.

蘭州標兵變，楊岳斌令克忠移軍鎮懾。 The standard battalions of Lanzhou mutinied. Yang Yuebin ordered Kezhong to move his army there to overawe them.
