臣恐君子是非，史官褒貶，大明忽虧於掩蝕，至德翻後於堯、舜，不其惜哉！ I fear that gentlemen will judge right and wrong and historians will praise and blame: your great brightness may suddenly be eclipsed and your utmost virtue may fall behind Yao and Shun. Would that not be lamentable!
