三年，川匪羅其清犯順慶，偕慶成往援，因賊勢蔓延，請勒保、宜綿遣兵會剿。 In the third year, when the Sichuan rebel Luo Qiqing struck Shunqing, he went to the rescue with Qing Cheng; as the rebellion spread, he asked Lebao and Yimian to send troops for a joint campaign.

命赴陝與宜綿等會剿張漢潮。 He was then ordered to Shaanxi to join Yimian and others against Zhang Hanchao.
