時國子祭酒尹拙引崔靈恩《三禮義宗》云：「蒼璧所以祀天，其長十有二寸，蓋法天之十二時。」 At that time Director of the Imperial Academy Yin Zhuo cited Cui Lin'en's Exegesis of the Three Rites: "The green bi is used to worship Heaven; it is twelve cun long, modeled on Heaven's twelve hours."

太常卿田敏以下議，以為尹拙所說雖有所據，而崇義援《周禮》正文，其理稍優，請從之。 Director of the Court of Imperial Rites Tian Min and his colleagues held that although Yin Zhuo's arguments had some basis, Chongyi's citation of the authoritative text of the Rites of Zhou was the stronger reasoning; they requested approval of his view.
