五世孫乾，字元果，為周上御史大夫，娶益壽氏女嬰敷，生耳，字伯陽，一字聃，周平王時為太史。 Five generations later came Qian, styled Yuanguo, Senior Censor-in-Chief of Zhou. He married Yingfu of the Yishou clan and had Er, styled Boyang, also called Dan, who served as Grand Astrologer under King Ping of Zhou.
