三省、樞密院聚議：故事，嘉祐末，英宗請慈聖同聽政，五月同御內東門小殿垂簾，至七月十三日英宗間日御前後殿，輔臣奏事，退詣內東門簾前覆奏。 The Three Departments and Privy Council assembled to deliberate. Precedent holds that at the end of Jiayou, Yingzong asked Cisheng to hold joint authority to hear government affairs; in the fifth month they together held court behind the curtain at the small hall of the Inner Eastern Gate, and on the thirteenth day of the seventh month Yingzong on alternate days held court before the front and rear halls, chief ministers reported business, and on withdrawing proceeded to the Inner Eastern Gate to report again before the curtain.
