以熾為前軍，破謙一鎮，定楚、合等五州，擒偽總管荊山西元振，以功拜儀同三司。 Chi served as vanguard, stormed one of Qian's strongpoints, pacified five prefectures including Chu and He, captured the rebel area commander Yuan Zhen west of Jing Mountain, and for this was made a general with the ceremonial equipage of the Three Excellencies.
