三年正月，索虜遣博陵公尉遲苟人、城陽公孔伯恭二萬騎救之。 In the first month of year 3 the Northern Wei sent Boling Duke Yuchi Gouren and Chengyang Duke Kong Bogong with twenty thousand cavalry to rescue him.

安都未向桑乾，前軍將軍裴祖隆謀殺苟人，舉彭城歸順，事泄，見誅。 Before Andou departed for Sanggan, Forward Army General Pei Zulong plotted to kill Gouren and surrender Pengcheng to the court. The plot was discovered and he was executed.
