仙韶樂工尉遲璋授王府率，右拾遺竇洵直當衙論奏，鄭覃、嗣復嫌以細故，謂洵直近名。 The Xianshao musician Yuchi Zhang was made commandant of the princely household; Remonstrance Official Dou Xunzhi protested at court, but Zheng Tan and Sifu dismissed it as trivial and accused Xunzhi of seeking renown.

帝即徙璋光州長史，以百縑賜洵直。 The emperor immediately reassigned Zhang as chief clerk of Guang Prefecture and rewarded Xunzhi with a hundred bolts of silk.

文宗欲以樂工尉遲璋為王府率，拾遺竇洵直固爭，卒授光州長史。 Wenzong wanted the musician Yuchi Zhang as princely commandant; Remonstrance Official Dou Xunzhi protested until Zhang was sent to serve as Chief Clerk of Guang Prefecture.
