時饒又曾薦梁時右庶子張澄為判官，建立亦狎之。 Rao had also recommended Zhang Cheng, former right assistant to the heir apparent under Liang, as administrative aide, and Jianli was on familiar terms with him.

澄素不知書，每座則以《陰府》、《鬼谷》為己任。 Cheng was barely literate and at every gathering treated the Yin Fu and Guiguzi as his specialties.
