延琳知黃龍、保州皆不附，遂分兵西取沈州，其節度使蕭王六初至，其副張傑聲言欲降，故不急攻。 Yanlin knew that Huanglong and Ba Prefecture would not join him, so he divided his forces west to take Shen Prefecture; its military commissioner Xiao Wangliu had just arrived, and his deputy Zhang Jie declared he wished to surrender, so they did not press the attack.

丙寅，以沈州節度副使張傑為節度使，其皇城進士張人紀、趙睦等二十二人入朝。 On bingyin day Shen Prefecture military deputy commissioner Zhang Jie was appointed military commissioner, and twenty-two imperial city jinshi including Zhang Renji and Zhao Mu entered court.
