宣宗時，左衞率府倉曹參軍張戣以刑律分類為門，而附以格敕，為大中刑律統類，詔刑部頒行之。 Under Emperor Xuānzong, Left Guard Command warehouse clerk Zhang Kui arranged the penal code by category, appended administrative edicts, and compiled the Dazhong Unified Categories of Penal Law; the Ministry of Justice was ordered to promulgate it.
