有僧名開，自高郵來，言張士誠乞降，眾幸事且成，皆大喜，有壬獨疑其妄，呼僧詰之，果語塞不能對。 A monk named Kai came from Gaoyou claiming that Zhang Shicheng wished to surrender. Everyone hoped the war might end and rejoiced, but Youren alone doubted the story. He summoned the monk and questioned him; the man was speechless and could not answer.
