徵灝請襲，御史孟飛熊疏言：「可望，獻忠餘黨，久據滇、黔，負固不服。 Zhenghao asked to inherit. Censor Meng Feixiong memorialized: "Kewang was a remnant of Xianzhong's band who long held Yunnan and Guizhou and stubbornly refused to submit.

文選，陝西吳堡人，亦從獻忠為賊。 Wenxuan, a native of Wubao in Shaanxi, had also followed Xianzhong in rebellion.

獻忠敗，從可望入貴州。 When Xianzhong was defeated, he followed Kewang into Guizhou.
