又遣安都步騎八千度江，與歷陽太守張幼緒等討爽。 The court again sent Andou with eight thousand infantry and cavalry across the Yangzi, together with Liyang Administrator Zhang Youxu and others, to campaign against Shuang.

幼緒恇怯，輒引軍退還，安都復還歷陽。 Youxu proved timid and withdrew his troops abruptly, so Andou fell back to Liyang again.
