癸丑，秦州偽命觀察判官趙比以本城降，詔以比為郢州刺史。 On guichou bogus Qinzhou investigating aide Zhao Bi surrendered the city and was appointed Yingzhou prefect.

〈（《宋史·趙比傳》：高彥儔出師救援，未至，聞軍敗，因潰歸。 (Song Shi, biography of Zhao Bi: Gao Yanchou marched to the rescue but, hearing of defeat before he arrived, fled in rout.

比閉門不納，召官屬諭之曰：「今中朝兵甲無敵於天下，自用師西征，戰無不勝，蜀中所遣將皆武勇者，卒皆驍健者，然殺戮遁逃之外，幾無孑遺。 Bi shut the gates against him and told his staff: “The central court’s arms are unmatched; since the western campaign began they have won every battle. Shu sent its bravest generals and fiercest troops—yet scarcely a man survives slaughter and flight.

眾皆俯伏聽命，比遂以城歸順。 All bowed and obeyed, and Bi surrendered the city.

初，昶遣其秦州節度使高處儔以兵援環，未至，聞堂倉兵敗，亦潰歸，處儔判官趙比閉城不內，處儔遂奔成都，比乃以城降，成、階二州相繼亦降，獨環堅守百餘日，然後克之。 Chang sent Gao Chuchou from Qin to aid Huan. Chuchou heard Tangcang had fallen and fled. His aide Zhao Bi shut him out; Chuchou ran to Chengdu and Bi surrendered. Cheng and Jie followed; only Huan held a hundred-odd days before the city fell.
