五月，金趙權府率兵三萬圍太原，哈剌拔都將騎三十，出西門，令騎曳柴揚塵，聲言曰：「國兵三萬至矣。」 In the fifth month the Jin commander Zhao Quanfu besieged Taiyuan with thirty thousand men. Halabatu led thirty horsemen out the west gate, had them drag brushwood to raise dust, and shouted: "Thirty thousand imperial troops are here!"
