隱帝嗣位，周祖為樞密使，崇謂判官鄭珙曰：“吾與郭樞密素不協，朝廷幼弱，郭得誌，吾無類矣。” After Emperor Yinyou came to the throne, Guo Wei of Later Zhou held the post of Bureau of Military Affairs commissioner. Liu Chong told his registrar Zheng Gong, "Guo and I have never gotten along. The throne is held by a boy. Once Guo has his way, my whole line is finished."

珙遂勸繕完甲兵，招集亡命，為自全計。 Gong then urged him to put arms and armor in order, recruit outlaws and fugitives, and plan how to save himself.

以子鈞為太原尹，判官趙華、鄭珙為宰相，陳光裕為宣徽使。 He made his son Liu Jun governor of Taiyuan, appointed his registrars Zhao Hua and Zheng Gong as chancellors, and made Chen Guangyu commissioner of the Palace Secretariat.
