二十五年，命赴四川，偕總督、將軍按前任駐藏大臣孟保、鍾芳等濫提官物，劾罷之。 In the twenty-fifth year he was dispatched to Sichuan with the governor-general and regional general to investigate former Tibetan ambans Meng Bao, Zhong Fang, and others for wrongful requisitions of official property; all were impeached and removed.
