二十一年，湖北崇陽逆匪鍾人傑作亂，踞縣城，陷通城。 In the twenty-first year (1841) the rebel Zhong Renjie of Chongyang in Hubei seized the county seat and captured Tongcheng.

提督劉允孝迭敗之石盤山、黑橋，進毀其巢，擒人傑及其黨陳寶銘、汪敦族等。 Provincial Commander Liu Yunxiao defeated them repeatedly at Shipan Mountain and Heiqiao, advanced and destroyed their lair, and captured Renjie along with Chen Baoming, Wang Dunzu, and other followers.
