On jiachen, a cup-sized star burst forth north of Willow, raced west to Celestial Granary and vanished, red-yellow with a bright tail that lit the ground. In the second month, on jiyou, a cup-sized star appeared within the Supreme Palace Enclosure, shot southwest to Wings and vanished, trailing light bright enough to illuminate the ground. On guihai, a cup-sized star emerged south of Horn, raced southwest to Earth Master of Works and vanished, green-white. In the third month, on dingyou, a cup-sized star appeared east of Winnowing Basket, sped southwest into the Murky and vanished, red-yellow with a tail so bright it lit the ground. In the fourth month, on bingyin, a cup-sized star burst from east of Forbidden Passage, raced north into the Murky and vanished, red-yellow with a ground-lighting tail. In the sixth month, on jiachen, light in the southeast lit up the ground as a bowl-sized star emerged from Gourd, reached Inner Steps and vanished, splitting apart with a thunderous roar. On jisi, a star bright as Venus appeared west of Left Rear Sustainer, shot southwest to Five Marquises inside the Supreme Palace Enclosure and vanished, red-yellow with a tail that lit the ground. On xinwei, a Venus-bright star emerged north of Outer Screen, drifted slowly northeast into the Murky and vanished, green-white and trailing. In the seventh month, on the evening of jiashen, a star bright as Venus appeared south of Great Horn, drifted north to the Northern Dipper and vanished, red-yellow and trailing. On gengzi, a cup-sized star appeared east of Row of Shops inside the Celestial Market Enclosure, drifted west to Neck and vanished, green-white and trailing. In the eighth month, on jiyou, a cup-sized star burst from south of Hidden Virtue inside the Purple Palace Enclosure, raced north into the Murky and vanished, red-yellow with a ground-lighting tail. On yimao, a bowl-sized star appeared north of Encampment, drifted slowly northwest into the Murky and vanished, red-yellow with a tail bright enough to light the ground. On bingchen, a Venus-bright star emerged northwest of Coiled Thong, drifted west into the Murky and vanished, green-white and trailing. On jiazi, a star pierced the clouds and lit the ground as it raced northeast into the Murky and vanished. In the ninth month, on gengchen, a cup-sized star burst north of Hooked Array, shot northwest into the Murky and vanished, red-yellow and trailing. On jiashen, a Venus-bright star appeared north of Seven Lords, drifted slowly northwest into the Murky and vanished, green-white and trailing. On jihai, a cup-sized star appeared south of Celestial Storehouse, drifted slowly southeast into the Murky and vanished, green-white with a tail that lit the ground. Again that day, a cup-sized star burst from west of Eastern Well, raced northeast into the Murky and vanished, red-yellow with a ground-lighting tail. In the tenth month, on yisi, a Venus-bright star appeared north of Celestial Ford, shot northwest to Celestial Flail and vanished, red-yellow with a tail that lit the ground. In the twelfth month, on bingzi, a cup-sized star burst north of North River, raced southeast to Bow and Arrow and vanished, red-yellow with a ground-lighting tail.

In the sixth month, on wuxu, a cup-sized star appeared east of Tail, sped south into the Murky and vanished, green-white and bright enough to light the ground. On gengzi, a cup-sized star burst east of Rooftop, drifted leisurely east into the Murky and vanished, green-white with a tail that lit the ground. In the seventh month, on yisi, a Venus-bright star appeared north of Thunder and Lightning, sped east to Thunderclap, red-yellow and trailing. On gengzi, a cup-sized star appeared north of Root, sped west into the Murky and vanished, green-white and bright enough to light the ground. On gengyin, a cup-sized star burst west of Celestial Ford, raced south to River Drum and vanished, red-yellow with a ground-lighting tail. In the eighth month, on guimao, a Venus-bright star appeared west of Celestial Storehouse, sped southeast into the Murky and vanished, red-yellow and trailing. In the ninth month, on wuchen, a Venus-bright star appeared at Celestial Cap, sped southwest to the Celestial Market Enclosure and vanished, green-white with a tail that lit the ground. In the tenth month, on dingwei, a Venus-bright star appeared north of Celestial Boat, sped southwest to Encampment and vanished, green-white and trailing. On yimao, a Venus-bright star appeared west of the Northern Dipper, sped northeast into the Murky and vanished, red-yellow and trailing. In the seventh month, on jiazi, a cup-sized star burst from Celestial Flail, raced north into the Murky and vanished, red-yellow and trailing. On bingyin, a cup-sized star appeared north of Celestial Flail, streamed rapidly southwest into the Murky and vanished, red-yellow with a tail that lit the ground. On jichou, a Venus-bright star appeared west of the Northern Dipper, streamed rapidly northeast into the Murky and vanished, red-yellow with a ground-lighting tail.
